Who is Jeremy Carter?

Updated: Jan 20, 2022

Knowing your agent, just one of the perks of a private plan.

One of the biggest perks of having a private plan is having a personal agent there to help you every step of the way. When you enroll in a plan with Carter Health Insurance, you're not calling "1-800-NOBODYCARES" when you need to make changes to your plan, need an explanation of benefits or need to locate a provider, you're calling our direct line where we know you by name and serve you like our reputation is on the line, because it is. So who is Jeremy Carter? We're glad you asked.

Jeremy broke into the insurance industry back in 2017. Even with virtually no experience to start, he was full steam ahead with a vision of helping others navigate the crucial but often times monotonous world of health insurance. He quickly gained ground, studying and acquiring several state licenses, all the while building his understanding of how health insurance is affected by more than just an individual's health, but also the local demographics, political policies and medical practices in general. Jeremy didn't want to just sell insurance, he wanted to have a thorough understanding of how health insurance changes over time so he could serve his clients better, setting them up for the long haul. So what did he do before 2017? What does he still do to some degree today?

MMA

WRESTLER

HS WRESTLING COACH

MARINE

Surprised? He gets that a lot. So how does one go from MMA and combat sports to selling insurance? We'll take it back to Detroit, MI to answer that question. Jeremy grew up just outside of Detroit where he began his obsession with MMA and Wrestling. He started in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 4 and obtained his Green Belt. At age 8, he trained in Isshin-Ryu Karate for 7 years and achieved his Brown Belt, culminating his karate career with two national tournaments. Jeremy started wrestling as a sophomore at Northville High School where he was a 3-year varsity wrestler and earned a spot on the Michigan National Freestyle Team.

Jeremy moved to Florida in 2012 and became Assistant Wrestling Coach at HB Plant High School in Tampa in 2015. In 2017, he assumed the position of Head Wrestling Coach at HB Plant High School where he still coaches today.

With a background like Coach Jeremy Carter's, suffice it to say he will hold little back when it comes to making sure his client's health is covered. His track record as a Mixed Martial Artist, Wrestler and United States Marine relied heavily on his own personal health and he understands the value of it to the degree that he wants to ensure everyone has access to the best coverage available.

In Jeremy's Own Words:

"As a former active duty U.S. Marine, and current Head Coach of a high school wrestling team, I have dedicated my life to serving others and paying it forward. My mission now is to provide my clients with exceptional health coverage and customer service."

You can reach out to Jeremy directly to find out what your available health care options are and he's always in the market to talk about Wrestling too. Direct Line: 813-665-8748
